Handling Personal Data

Access Data

I gather data on every access to my website (so-called server log files). Access data includes:

• Name of the retrieved web page

• Date and time of retrieval

• Amount of data transferred

• Notification of successful retrieval

• Browser type and its version

• User's operating system

• Referrer URL (previously visited page)

• IP address and the requesting provider.

I only use the log data for statistical evaluations aimed at the operation, security, and optimization of the offer. However, I reserve the right to review the log data retrospectively if there's a justified suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete evidence.

Through the newsletter, I inform you about myself and my offers. If you wish to receive the newsletter, I require a valid email address from you, along with information that allows me to verify that you're the owner of the email address provided or that the owner agrees to receive the newsletter. I need your first and last name for a personal salutation. No additional data is collected. This data is only used for sending the newsletter and isn't passed on to third parties. When registering for the newsletter, I also store your IP address and the date of registration. This storage serves the proof in case a third party misuses an email address and subscribes to the newsletter without the knowledge of the rightful owner. You can revoke your consent to the storage of data, the email address, and its use for sending the newsletter at any time. You won't incur any costs other than the base rate connection costs. The revocation can be made via a link in the newsletters themselves, by notification to the contact options listed in the imprint, or by unsubscribing on the website.

Integration of Third-party Services and Content

It might happen that this online offer includes third-party content, like YouTube videos, Google Maps material, RSS feeds, or graphics from other websites. This always presupposes that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") perceive the IP address of the users. Because without the IP address, they couldn't send the content to the browser of each user. Thus, the IP address is necessary for the presentation of this content. I strive to use only content whose respective providers use the IP address solely for the delivery of the content. However, I don't have any influence if third-party providers store the IP address for statistical purposes. If I'm aware of it, I inform users about it.
